LEG ULCERS (FEELING OF DIZZINESS)
If high blood pressure is noted, indicated by a feeling of dizziness, do not neglect to treat it. Viscum album, Crataegus and arnica are well-known remedies that have a regenerating effect on the blood vessels. Further advice is given in the section on hypertension (see pages 124—9). It may be that the heart requires strengthening too. All these factors have to be assessed according to each case.
It goes without saying that an appropriate diet is essential for any healing process, if it is to be successful. If by now you have come to terms with the meaning of natural therapy, it should not be necessary to re-emphasise this fact. Cleansing the body from inside requires a diet that is low in salt and protein. Meat consumption should be reduced to a bare minimum, or better still, eliminated altogether until a complete recovery has been achieved. Pork, sausages and all other processed meats, eggs, cheese, white sugar and flour, as well as canned foods, should all be avoided. In their place eat plenty of natural wholefoods, including steamed vegetables, raw salads and wholegrain products.
The above recommendations are intended to help all those who suffer from leg ulcers. If you recognise and follow these important principles of natural therapy, your recovery and future well-being will be within your reach.
